The ground floor, The fully equipped farmhouse kitchen is organised around the family size table in a traditional farm house style.

The sitting room has the very efficient glass doored fireplace giving you the option of an open fire or the safety of closing the doors over as you wish.

Behind the kitchen a side passage leads to a cloakroom with separate toilet. From the cloakroom stairs lead down to the laundry/ utility room.

The kitchen is equipped with an electr ic oven with grill and mixed hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and all smaller electrical appliances such as coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There is also a large utility room with washing machine and double sink.
The house has full oil-fired central heating as well as a wood-burning fireplace in the sitting room. The hearth is fully enclosed behind glass doors.
The sitting room is furnished with two quality sofas, a "honky-tonk" piano, a games cupboard, satelite TV, internet access, cards table, and a library including books and maps of local interest. We leave plenty of tourist information, books of local history, walking maps and lists of our favorite restaurants and local wine merchants as well as the market days in the surrounding towns and villages.

Upstairs there are four spacious bedrooms, 1 king size, 2 doubles 1 with a single and 1 twin room with a wash basin. All  are simply decorated in pastel colours with warm wooden floors.

The bathroom has a full size bath with shower and glass screen, wash basin, toilet and bidet. Hot water is produced on demand so can not run out.
